This piece was influenced by country life. I painted it to be simple and serene. I hope it brings calm and warmth to its new home. The viewer's eye is drawn to the beautiful green glass bottles in the foreground, but then moves to the view out the window of the moody landscape beyond. This watercolour is both modern with organic elements that would grace any interior.

The artist often takes inspiration from architecture, nature and landscapes that take the viewer on a journey and bring feelings of warmth and contentment.

This piece was  painted by the artist using professional watercolour grade paints and small details in pencil  on Arches cold pressed 300 gsm watercolour paper. The artist only uses light-fast supplies of the highest standard to ensure the piece retains its vibrancy and quality.
