A lot of my childhood was spent down the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. My grandmother has a house in Torquay which was our summer base. From there we would go exploring and one of our favourite places was the Aireys Inlet Lighthouse.

Majestically sitting on top of the cliffs the lighthouse played a key role in days gone by, especially during the gold rush period of the 1880's.

Today its a beacon for holiday makers and day trippers from Melbourne.

It's also an irresistible subject for artists. I've personally painted this view a number of times and always enjoy it.

This painting is on gallery wrapped double width stretched canvas and is ready to hang. The edges are currently unpainted however I can easily paint them if you prefer.
