This is the third painting I have done of this outback creek bed.
I found it about an hour south of Winton in the Queensland outback. It was baking hot at 44 degrees. I set out on a journey to walk up the creek bed and see if I could find water. To my surprise I did find a few patches of water, and eventually came across a water pool.
Beautiful, but harsh part of the country.
