Ming series is a collection of loose, semi-abstract works featuring my favourite Chinese Dragon Vase. This is a motif that appears quite a bit in various incarnations throughout my work.

I love painting still life and am drawn to pattern and plants. These works are fun and free, the plants are my own abstract interpretations of ones I have studied and drawn over again until they assume their own character. If you're familiar with my work you will recognise some of these stylised botanicals and compositions from my earlier work.
