I have recently started painting still life after focusing on birds for the past couple of years, This is a relatively new direction and natural progression for my work. I love to paint nature, things with patterns or decoration on them such as this lovely vase, and pretty much whatever takes my fancy, which at the moment is Australian plants in Retro vases, as well as Australian backyard birds with Australian botanicals.

I am treating these works on paper as studies for some still life paintings I'm planning to produce in oils on canvas in the not too distant future.
