Original Gouache painting on beautiful ivory heavy weight watercolour paper. I love Lyrebirds and they feature quite heavily in my work, especially my works on paper. This incarnation was inspired by the stunning colour trends predicted for 2024/25 from the Milan Furniture Fair. I am a self confessed colour junkie so I am really excited about the Interior forecasts for next year which includes a dazzling array of rich, luxe colours, velvet furnishings, gold chrome, updated Art Deco etc. I get inspiration from all sorts of places and colour is a biggie for me personally.

I painted a matching cockatoo friend for this guy which is in a separate listing but I have included a photo of them hung together as a pair.
