Ive been listening to Australian hip hop since i was about 15 years old. Ive loved watching the movement grow and change over the years. I will always have a soft spot for older tunes but I love the new styles, influences and people that are coming out in more recent years. B Wise is someone who I admire for a number of reasons, his music is dope but its more than that, looking into his music production, management, activism, and the way he has lifted the communities and the people around him is something to be applauded. I think thats why I spent nearly a month painting this.

I have no doubt there are many figures like this gentleman that I have missed, and i hope in time that i can paint them too.

For now this is my way of putting the spotlight on someone doing good things.
