Artwork Description

Lauryn Hill has been a hugely influential individual on music, on pop culture and change. Her album 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill' has been internationally acclaimed and referred to as one which changed the way Hip Hop sounded, her stories, voice and rhymes are still some of the most prolific even today, as a lover of stories and music, this is easily one of the most influential on my work and my thinking. I find her voice calming, and informative, she is easily among the greatest of influences on my art. The background of this work features a repeated series of words, each being a title of the tracks on her album. She is an icon not just in Hip Hop, but in all forms of art. Thank you Lauryn for your words and influence.
