A bit of fun, Inspired by hinterland living. I don't have any chickens myself but they would definitely feature in the fantasy garden I am dreaming up through this hinterland inspired collection of paintings! These two also feature in another one of my paintings "Kookaburra Playground". I loved them so much, I thought I would paint them bigger.

The grass was a dream to paint and I love how it adds a luscious feeling, like these pretty chicks are strutting about on plush pile carpet.

I wanted to create a feeling of a couple of old mates hanging out in the backyard having a natter. The 'caption this' combinations are endless. Something for you to ponder. Ha!

Of course it wouldn't be my fantasy garden without some flowers and floral furnishing to finish the piece off.
