There are times when the peg won’t fit into place no matter how hard you push it. You fall short of a hair tie, a clove of garlic, the candle doesn’t burn one last time, and the wine glass shatters into a thousand pieces, with not enough days to collect it all up. Your best friend disappoints you and you won’t understand why, someone you love is sick and it’s out of your control, you slip down a driveway in the pouring rain - and all of these things will make you cry.

There are also times when you’ll get the green light on the one day you really need to get there, your coffee will taste better than you expected and the sun will come out even when the weather man promises a storm. You will get flowers on an ordinary day, or get a refund when your down to your last dollar, and a stranger will tell you that you are beautiful when you feel nothing at all. This will make you smile.

Its not always meant to work out the way you want it to, but sometimes it just does.
