The top two thirds are a sweep and swirl of turquoise and white while the lower third, separated by a fanning faun band, is an undulating deep blue with black shadows.

The three square side by side canvases give the strong impression of capes jutting out into a rough sea. The horizon sits approximately half way down each canvas and the sea turns from lighter blue/greens to a deep blue/black toward the very lower edge.
