I enjoy painting a sunset as much as I did being out in the bush watching one, we often, when on tour set time for sunset be it at the Rock, or sitting out at the majestic Bungle Bungles, or camped out on the Canning Stock Route, the punters always loved it and sat in silence as they had a beer or a glass of wine and ate cheese and biscuits. Often, when out bush by myself would sit and watch the sun go down, but with a rum and coke and a bag of pork crackle.. The change of colours would highlight the trees, claypans and old relics scattered about the place. I always think that a sunset sets you up for the next day.
