I was painting with a friend and we found an inspiring painting of Poppies and decided to both do our own original versions. I am very happy with how mine progressed and turned into this beautiful semi abstract artwork. The purple abstract vase is reminiscent of a woman figure that stretches upwards towards the lovely Red Poppies. It has been a well admired artwork but now I am ready to sell.
I used professional Daniel Smith Watercolours and Arches 300gsm CP watercolour paper for this painting.
