This is my grandfather's old home where my father also grew up. When I went to visit my home last year after covid I got a chance to visit my grandfather’s home which haven’t seen it for 20 plus years, it was a huge unkempt mess I was taken by the decayed beauty of the building which once had housed 5 families with eight children. My thoughts turned to times gone by when things appeared simpler and a roof over your head was something to be thankful for. Running on the roads and playing games of "hide & seek" was a regular way to pass the time. Hopscotch and skipping were games that required little equipment and no electricity. Life’s were very simple and beautiful where you don’t have to worry about the future and people were living in the present.
