Moonlight Fairie

I wanted to paint an innocent and beautiful young woman faeire whose body blended in with the leaves of a flowering gum tree There are many textures bringing this painting to life - for example modelling texture and sand medium was used for the moon. Modelling texture was also used on the gum leaves , the flowers and the faeries body. Small pieces of twine added to the gum flowers and painted with acrylic paint plus hessian attached to some of the gum leaves making the painting multi dimensional and fascinating. You will also see the faeries' skin has an opalescent glow as part of the layers.

The painting is set in a beautiful black wooden floating frame. It is ready to hang with a wire and D-rings for secure hanging.

This painting will look delightful in a bedroom or living room.
