This artwork was created in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It is inspired by the colour of Ukrainian flag, dating back to the 12th century and representing the wheat fields under the blue skies. The dark red crows flying over the fields are in the colour of the pointless blood spilled in this war, and the ominous symbol of dangers unexpected from a brotherly country.
