During lockdown number 97 my sisters had delivered a gorgeous bunch of tulips for my birthday. I drew them everyday through the cycle of their bloom. I particularly loved the over blown last stage. In this work the softness of long friendship is expressed together with some abstraction of colour. It has a textured finished as a result of using the wax medium. Prints are also available on request.
