On a trip to Montague Island, my wife and I took photos of the heritage buildings across the island. We enjoyed hearing of the purpose and history of the place, so I decided to record this heritage building on canvas as a way of doing justice to the significance of the place and as a way of linking the building with the Sydney Harbour Bridge pylons. Both structures were made from the same granite mined on the island - notice the narrow slit windows reminiscent of the windows of the pylons either side of the Sydney Harbour Bridge,
