Little Corellas are traditionally outback birds but in recent years have discovered the joys of suburban gardens and parks.. Where I live their are often roosting flocks of 200 birds that wheel and squawk in noisy unison. Because of this their image is of noisy, not-so-interesting parrots. In fact, close-up, they are quite colourful and perky. Hence this portrait of a pair in my garden. After all that might return to the outback one day and then we would miss them.
