Botanical Beauties

In centuries past artist have painted whatever is available to them; the people they meet, the food on their tables and of course, the plants in their garden. With so many strange and beautiful botanicals out there, it's no surprise that this tradition continues today. Still life paintings allow artists to perfect their technical skills and hone their expression of nature's bounty. With recent months leading to frequent walks in nature, we're feeling in sync with the plant-obsessed artists among us. While you can't smell these roses, you can always stop and admire their everlasting beauty.
