Happy Pride Month!

Each year, the LGBTQIA+ community and allies commemorate the Stonewall Riots of June 1969 during what is now internationally recognised as Pride Month. Here at Bluethumb, we are proud to represent artists of all colours of the rainbow. This curation is a celebration of our LGBTQIA+ artists and artworks that celebrate queer culture.

In a world where women are encouraged to believe in anything but themselves, this work asks you to harness your power, allowing yourself to let go, expose yourself from within. Just like a diamond, women are multi-dimensional, multifaceted, complicated, rare, tough, and fuck, they sure do sparkle. This artwork was created using mixed techniques of photography and digital art, then printing with GiclΓ©e fine art inks on museum quality paper which is mounted to the canvas. Once dried, the work is painted on using drip graffiti markers, spray paint, 3d modelling paste, impasto paints, pastels and crayons.
