Judges Picks: Kate Gordon

When it comes time to judge this year's Bluethumb Art Prize, Kate Gordon expresses a desire to unearth artworks that tell a story with depth and honesty. "I am looking for warm, authentic art, with a strong sense of self, that doesn't rely too heavily on technique," she explains.

This curation was hand-picked by Kate to showcase her current favourite Bluethumb artworks. Want to read more about this Bluethumb Art Prize judge? Check out our latest blog post, Iconic Australian Pottery Studio Joins Art Prize!
