Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

Farmers markets and artisan markets are my jam. I also love to make art relatable which I've attempted to in this piece by including the diversity of people who attend a market. I hope everyone can find a little of themselves in this painting. I love finding things in art that I can relate to/feel a connection to and that's what I hope to do here. I hope this helps the viewer feel a sense of belonging in and through the work.

This work is full of cookies/easter eggs as it were with different human dramas enacted throughout and was one I put a great deal of thought into.

Additionally, as a maker and creator I love the act of being able to talk t the people who grow/prepare my food. I'm fortunate to lie in an area full of famers markets in close proximity.

Created with acrylic paints and inks on stretched canvas. The work is finished on all 4 sides with one side having a little bit of the work wrapping round for extra interest.
