Brindello is a medium/ large abstract expressionist painting. Though it is a minimalist style, it does contain a lot of layers and detail. The use of neutral colours ed is countered by the use of more vibrant reds, blues, and yellows.
Brindello was inspired by in part by the Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi, and the artist Ian Fairweather. I was also listening to jazz music by Herbie Hanckock, and Miles Davis when I was planning and sketching out the idea for teh eventual painting.

Bindello has been painted using artist grate acrylic paints on a high quality Eraldo di Paulo 14oz canvas. I have continued painting over the sides of the canvas which means it is ready to hang (or frame). The painting has been finished with several layers of gloss varnish to enhance the colour and to provide protection to the artwork
