I'm not an artist that does what might be deemed 'traditional still life studies'. But sometimes I've done them to portray treasured objects that have, or are, part of my life. And sometimes it's a matter of capturing a moment in time.
So, while I may not do many, those I do paint or draw are full of emotions, memories, beauty, and other heartfelt feelings. I hope they portray this essence of emotional comfort and beauty to those who view them.
And needless to say, sometimes I do a still life 'because I can', AND with a total sense of fun! :)
