Artwork Description

In the old days kerosene (to burn for light, or to run a fridge amongst many other uses) and motor spirit (petrol) were sold in timber boxes containing two tins. Once the tins had been emptied, they were re-used to carry all types of liquid, or flattened and used as a building material. The strong timber boxes were also put to use, and can still be found on many outback stations.
