This print is derived from a chalk and oil pastel drawing and inspired by images from the James Webb Space Telescope. I made a few marks and I proceeded to layer the pastel in an organic and intuitive way. I then digitised the drawing and applied a few graphics filters using the computer. I wanted to enhance and alter the drawing but at the same time leave the traces of my marks or hand. The end result was a celestial image of vibrant gas clouds swirling in the universe creating new stars and galaxies.
