Painted from a photograph I took on a quick break to Tasmania. I was so excited to finally see and photograph one of these birds! Was wonderful to be able to paint him when I got back to Melbourne using my own photos for reference. Painted using artists quality watercolour paint on Arches 100% cotton 300 gsm paper. Paper size: ~19cm x 33cm. Painted area: ~18cm x 27.4cm.
