This flu season was awful and caused havoc as it rampaged through my household. My six year old got hit by a bad bout of flu virus and ended up living on my couch all week. He was finally starting to get better and was sleeping so soundly and smiling in his sleep. The recovery finally had started to take place and he looked so sweet and peaceful that I knee I had to capture the moment.
This piece took a lot of hard work and fine detail but I am so happy how it turned out. It is vibrant and sweet. This celebrates how often the couch becomes the other bed.
