An Australian Laughing Kookaburra. I have a lot of kookaburras where I live and have a family of kookaburras that visit by garden on a regular basis. This is a painting in acrylics of one of my own garden visitors. I love their feather patterns and have focused on showing those in my painting. Lenny the Laughing kookaburra is painted against a beautiful sky blue colour, coated with a satin varnish and framed in Tasmanian oak so it's ready to hang. The frame is also wide enough to stand on a shelf if that's what you prefer.
