Shoreline Shimmer

During walks along the shore at sunrise in Byron Bay, the light takes on a dreamlike quality and the ocean becomes mirror-like. The work aimed to capture the magical feeling of a new day surrounded by glowing waves and clouds.

Born into a family of art lovers and artists; Lee is a multi art award finalist who continues to explore, diversify and create. Primarily a landscape artist obsessed with colourful sunsets and botanical forms; Lee is also a keen up cycler and found object enthusiast. Walks with the furbaby along beaches and through forests provide daily inspiration. After falling in love with surrealism in high school; Lee is still an occasional dabbler in the style, also enjoying a variety of abstract styles thanks to a fantastic online art community.
