Lucky for me- this is the view from a local beach looking south towards Coolangatta and Greenmount Beaches. As a keen surfer , I do love the waves but nothing excites me more than when the ocean is calmer and gentle, glassy, crystal clear waves tumble onto the shore. If you can't afford to live in a home right on the beach with this view, then I hope that this is the next best thing. I created this painting to get that feeling of a quieter ocean where even the waves break with a softer sound and you can almost be lulled to sleep by the rhythmic ebb and flow of the water. I think of it as beach therapy :)
