Bob n Betty came about after a fabulous trip out to Broken Hill and surrounds. We had a ball. The two characters in this work are from a sculpture we purchased there and I worked them into a painting of an old mine site while musing on the life of that amazing Broken Hill local Pro Hart. It's a joyful artwork and captures the spirit of Broken Hill.
