Dragonfly Dreaming is an original unique state collograph print. Using fabulous textures for the dragonfly wings, bodies and eyes along with impasto applied directly to the board. The dragonfly is one of my favourite motifs as they are such incredible and unusual creatures. This hand pulled print is earthy with brown umber, turquoise blue, soft pink and burnt orange.
It is more subtle in colouring than bright, but that may not show depending on your monitor.
The picture with the frame is with shadows and distortion due to photographing it in the frame with glass. There is a mat included with the frame and glass. The orange in the framed work is closer to the correct depth of colour.
