Caper White Butterfly by Michelle Dujmovic

My painting is of a Caper White Butterfly (Belenois java teutonia).
Caper white Butterflies are found through out Australia, mainly living west of the great dividing range where they feed on Caper shrubs.
I love to paint Butterflies in- between my bird paintings. I love all their little details and patterns which appear as I study them closely.
I saw this specimen at the WA museum.
Painted in high quality, Artist grade watercolours on smooth Arches hot pressed paper 300gsm. The painting has a wide professional matt board ready to be framed to your preference. Internal window size is: 15.5cm width x 13cm height, with matt board total external measurements are: 31.5cm width x 30cm height.
The painting is great addition to a natural history collection and suits both a modern and traditional interior.
Artwork will be packed carefully and shipped in a custom-made sturdy box.
