Here's another Australian native bird, meet "Blue Black Cockatoo on Aqua" my 2nd black cockatoo painting using my new medium of pastels, using pan and soft pastels. I would love to see these amazing native birds in the wild, but haven't as yet.
So I rely on the generosity of wonderful photographers. I fell in love with the image kindly supplied by photographer Eat Sleep Paint. This one seems to have a come hither look in her eyes.
I enjoy the wonderful fresh looking range of these heavily pigmented pastels.
