We encountered this big sea turtle while swimming in the Noosa marine Reserve from Tea Tree Bay to Main Beach. The aim in this work is to share the thrill of this creature swimming into view, her apparent ease in our company, and the exquisite light and colours in the water. This charcoal on hand-dyed paper art piece was a Finalist in the 2020 Du Reitz Art Awards.
