Pigments have the ability to alter the transmission or reflection of light and hold an extensive history amongst artists as a colouring matter. Contemporary art is seeing a rise in vibrant colour palettes, mixing earthy tones with raw textures, creating striking pieces. This curation focuses on work from artists that emphasise the use of bold and rich pigments.
