Hearing bird calls of a morning gives me a sense of well-being.
We headed up the Blue Mountains to visit the Mount Wilson gardens open day, to catch some autumn colours. Alas, we were a couple of weeks too late. But, we drove down to the Cathedral Reserve, where quite a few visitors had stayed overnight in their tents or campervans. And, whilst we were strolling around, hubby first saw two magpies sitting on the fence with another one singing along as she was about to land. I'd love to know what their warble meant. For me, it was a real bonus seeing these three Australian magpies close by. A lovely landscape with the Blue Mountains as a backdrop and beautiful garden to boot.
