Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

"Sailing in Sydney Harbour" was inspired by a memory of one of our trips on the Manly Ferry to Circular Quay. So many out on the blue waters of Sydney Harbour, enjoying their afternoon on their boats or yachts. I remember too, how strong the current was as we were crossing the North and South Heads entry into the beautiful Harbour of Sydney. Just off the easel this afternoon, now it's in honour of the Blue Water classic which was called off because of Covid19. Another monumental event bites the dust. I really feel for everyone who worked hard towards making this happen and now feeling the rug being pulled from under them.

Garie beach in the Royal National Park south of Sydney, in the late afternoon with the last rays of wintry sunshine covering some of the beach and the distant slope of a cliff and people enjoying the vista and balmy airwalking through the lush green Daintree Rainforest in far north Queensland towards the Coral Sea and the beach, one is welcomed with beautiful azure blue and turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, big blue skies and a vista of the coastline in the distance looking southwards with the rainforest teaming up with the watersA beachscape of the hidden gem which is Cocora Beach down Eden way. With it's beautiful blue shallow waters, a rocky coastline and the natural australian bush surrounding it. A families paradise.it feels and looks like what one could imagine of the second coming. A terrifying storm with white, dark and unusual coloured skies, brewing way in the distance and already the turquoise waves are pounding with force along the coastline covered with white froth
