Personally, this image is the epitome of what I seek to create. Exploring hundreds of kilometres of coastline from the air, in search of abstract forms, and happening upon something that is completely unique.
At times an image simply presents itself in the field. Others take meticulous planning and multiple shoots, whilst some take time to present themselves several months or years after they have been captured.
This image was “discovered” on a section of Kimberley coastline that has been quite fruitful for me. A section of coastline that is wiped clean a couple of times each day with wind and tide at the wait, ready to sculpt a new visual marvel upon their blank canvas.
