Proteas are a long lasting flower and I chose vivid hues of acrylic paint to bring them to life in a pot pourri of colour. The bold strokes and thick outlines make the details of the flowers and leaves pop! I love placing patterns on top of the layers in many colours. There are several layers of paint including silver leaf and gold leaf to create a play of light and shadow which adds depth to the composition, creating a stunning visual impact.
My inspiration for this piece was to create a colourful and happy floral arrangement to bring joy to the viewer.

This painting will bring life to a bedroom, reading nook, and dining or living room.

No need to frame as the painting has a lovely depth with the sides painted and has a wire and D rings attached.
