Sky, water and a setting sun was the inspiration for this oil painting on stretched canvas. I really enjoyed sitting down and capturing the small gum tree growing near this fresh water lake. The softness of the scene was very peaceful and quite meditative. "The Lake" would suit a cute little reading nook, a study or bedroom. She blends perfectly into a beach house or a rustic setting as well as modern.
Painted in Oil paints and cared for by a final finishing spray medium for protection. It is nestled into a comfortable Tasmanian Oak frame in a neutral colour and has a wire on the back as well as four felt wall protectors .
