Buildings

This series is inspired by my love for architecture. I did a Bachelor of Architecture degree. To me buildings are works of art.

A small cafe in a cobble stoned street in the Old Town of Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay. There are several tables with chairs and red umbrellas on the side of the road. People sitting under the umbrellas enjoying drinks. The buildings are white, old colonial buildings from the time of the Spanish and the Portuguese. There is a bicycle leaning against the wall of a building on the right side of the painting. Also a blue bench. Greenery and red hibiscus flowers cascading from the buildings. Pot plants on the footpaths. Balconies on the buildings.
