Heating Up

The weather is finally warming up and it seems in 2017 warm interiors will be the new cool. Forget everything that's been in. Navy and midnight blues? Out. Concrete and copper? Out. Cool and white tones? Out. Surely not open plan living? Out! The design world is turning away from minimalism and towards warm and cosy interiors. Think browns, dark greens and reds to replace the greys and blues we've all been obsessed with; warm materials like matte finish terracotta and cork instead of cold, hard polished surfaces; and best of all little nooks to escape the digital age rather than big open spaces with your gadgets on display. This curation explores a restricted colour palette and artworks that work in a cosy space.
