Inspired by Margaret Olley

About this Curation

Margaret Olley is a renowned Australian painter best known for blurring the lines between still life and interior styling in modern painting.
.
Margaret arranged her scenes with everyday objects, fruits, flowers and treasures collected from her international travels. What resulted was a life-time of vibrant paintings capturing the organised clutter of the artist's own home.
.
Following in Olley's footsteps, many Bluethumb artists find inspiration in their homes creating still-life arrangements full of meaning.
